"The Love One Seeks"
A painting held in the mountain manor called Hesperides, high in the snow-mountains.\nIt is said that a Snegovik who lives in that manor is a fae who must complete her soul through "love." Yet that love always demands, as its price, the very life of the one they love. For the moment they truly understand love is when they lose it. This may well be why the stories of Snegurochka that circulate in the world always end in tragedy.\nMost of the fae in question have long grown used to this, until one of them was moved to wonder... "Why must the growth of the soul always be paid for in the pain of the heart?"
