Cooperative Engagement Early-Model Guizhong Ballista
Comfort: 90

A scaled model of the mass-produced Guizhong Ballista. The original weapon system possessed the cooperative engagement capability and was once introduced to the Millelith in limited trial deployments. After its performance metrics were fully validated, it was replaced by newer designs and reclassified as an "obsolete model" suitable for external trade. At the Nod-Krai Trade Expo, The Crux fleet demonstrated the system's long-range strike capabilities using this very model.\nLong before the battle against Beisht, certain perceptive figures within the Millelith had already begun studying new methods of engagement: delivering firepower from protected positions to neutralize unconventional threats. Among the various proposals, the cooperative engagement approach soon gained broad support. The concept emphasizes separating the units responsible for target acquisition from those responsible for launching attacks, thereby enabling enemies to be eliminated without placing friendly forces in danger.\nTo realize this vision, the Cooperative Engagement Early-Model Guizhong Ballista was equipped with three types of ammunition: an overhead surveillance device for target designation, a general-purpose shell capable of engaging both air and ground targets, and a high-explosive round specialized for ground bombardment. In practice, the overhead surveillance device would be launched into the combat zone first, where it would designate targets and guide the bombardment that followed.\nThe specimen placed within The Realm Within, however, contains no such weapon systems. In keeping with the realm's peaceful nature, it now stands merely as a dignified sculpture.
