Moonglow Frostfin Whale

A wondrous aquatic creature altered by the influence of kuuvahki.\nAccording to the studies of the Snezhnayan biologist Hvylyolo Verkhratsky five hundred years ago, the concentration of kuuvahki on the surface is generally considered too low to cause physical changes in creatures of such enormous size. Perhaps that is why these rare, differently colored individuals have taken on a more romantic meaning. In the folk tales of Nod-Krai, it is said that anyone who sees a pink Frostfin Whale will have their wish come true. Some versions of the tales of Reed Miller, the legendary thief, even tell of a so-called "King of Whales" who helped Reed and his merry companions resist the sirens' bewitching song — and, in turn, caused the siren queen herself to fall in love with him at first sight.\nBut tall tales are still tall tales, and a pink whale, in the end, is still only a whale.
