Performing Chain Defensive moves against certain skills used during the Misty Veil state triggers Impaired and rapidly depletes the Corruptive Barrier. Additionally, during the Misty Veil state, updrafts will frequently appear across the battlefield — taking damage from these updrafts will restore a small amount of Scorched Horizon's Corruptive Barrier.
